The purpose of this analysis was to identify the 10 most common deficiencies to help Small Passenger Vessel Owners by shedding some light on vessel problems that they can rectify prior to scheduling their next Coast Guard examination.

These reports provide the passenger vessel segment of the U.S. maritime industry with trends in various metrics and highlight areas where vessel owners can focus efforts to improve the safety of their operations.
The reports are posted annually in June, containing data from the previous three years.
