Step 1. Apply for your TWIC and complete the "application forms 719B, 719C (if applicable), CG-719S Sea Service (if applicable), and 719P” " using NMC’s Checklist Page to select the type of credential you want.
Step 2. Obtain other documented Sea Service and any relevant training certificates and/or assessments, if applicable.
Step 3. Pay your fees and Apply.

Renewal

Duplicate

Duplicate MMC definition: A replacement credential issued containing the same authority, wording, and expiration date as a the lost, stolen, or destroyed credential.

Step 3. Apply.

Replacement MMC

Replacement MMC definition: A replacement credential issued as the result of a request to change the name, address, or physical attributes on the credential.

Steps to Apply for a Replacement MMC

Step 1. Complete the 719B.
Step 2. Pay the modification fees.
Step 3. Apply.

Document of Continuity

Document of Continuity definition: A document issued to keep a mariner eligible to renew their credential while they are not actively sailing, but it does not allow them to work as a merchant mariner.

Step 1. Complete the CG-719B.
Step 2. Apply.
