On 28 June 2013, the Atlantic Strike Team coordinated an aircraft loadout exercise on McGuire AFB with the Coast Guard National Strike Force Coordination Center and the Coast Guard C-130J Standardization Team.  The Atlantic Strike Team has the capability to respond throughout the world providing rapidly deployable technical experts and specialized equipment to lead agency Incident Commanders and Federal On-Scene Coordinators for their response missions.  All equipment is staged and can be ready for loading onto an aircraft within six hours.  The training is critical to ensure personnel are trained and proficient while verifying that all equipment is packaged to the load master’s specifications.
